Have a 1995 ford f800 with 5.9 cummings and 7 spd. Trans. Transmission wont go all the way in 7th gear. It feels like something is stopping it from going in 7th gear you can hold and it will pull as long as you hold it. The rest of gears work fine
It could be something simple like a fork or something wrong with the shifter rails. If it was mine i would take the trans tunnel up and pull the top of the transmission off and look. That wouldnt be to hard to do but puting it back wouldnt be as simple.
