70 -73 ford 5550 engine

Hay guys can you tell me what kind of diesel engine this backhoe has it is 4 cyl diesel any info would be great as im looking to get the injector pump rebuilt thanks

    Its either a 256 or a 268 cibic inch ..256 are 4.2 bore and 268 are 4.4 bore ...This engine is compatiable with a Ford 5000 .. The Injection pump is a Simms inline ...To time it is not to big of a deal ..hope this helps .. If you need help timing the pump hollar back

    If you where in my part of the world ..yeah lol ..Talk to some of your closest equipment dealers and find out who they use ...If you ask enuff people you'll find a reputable guy...
