1978 ** 70 swing cylinders have alot of travel. swing left or right it will travel at least 2ft.If parked on a slant ,boom will creep toward slant.Any info.would be appreciated,especially the metering rod in side the swing cylinder and how it works.
I have mf70 mine does the same thing. the packing is bad I am trying to find used cylinders to rebuild. it seams to be hard to find parts
They're not especially common. Are your cylinders junk? You should be able to rebuild yours relatively easily if they just need seals.
