Looking at a cat dozer, serial number 7u9507, trying figure out year and model of this, is that a D4, and is there a place on it somewhere that has the weight?
Early-model "D4A" (pre B model). Built 1947-1959. Someone else will date it closer than that. Tractor weight somewhere around 11k pounds but total weight could vary depending on what equipment it has.
Thanks, helps a lot. It has an eight foot wide loader bucket on front, with im sure, the arms that came with the bucket, not the original arms, cause they’re way above the tractor hood.Im told it was off an old crawler. Thanks for the info, hels a lot!
Identification is helped greatly by photos.
I found website with listing for serial numbers and year, so found it was manufactured in 1950.appreciate the info you sent, helped get me going right direction.
