This weekend I was helping a freind regrade a long driveway and my 843 made a new noise I'm hoping someone can identify. The Bobcat was completly rebuilt this past winter and has new fluids everywhere including the chaincase. The chains were not replaced and they are sagging enought to rub on bottom of the case in certain conditions but everything seems to work fine other than that. The problem: When carrying a bucket full of stone dust (probably about 1000 lbs) at full speed going straight or turning, on level ground or uphill, even for long distances (1/4 mile)- no noises. BUT as soon as the grade is downhill and especially if i'm turning slightly, I hear this screaching noise that sounds like a badly stalled bearing in an axel??. As soon as the ground levels out- the noise goes away. Any thoughts?
