I just got a call about this piece of equipment and they said they changed the hydro.and filter and all the lines and its still running slow. Im thinking pump but is there any other things i might check first??
Nevermind....it will not move. i checked all the linkages and controls and everything seems to work properly. I pulled the transmission filter and ran it for a second and it had very little pressure, fluid was coming out slowly...im thinking the pump is out in transmission....what do yall think?
electric dump switch on lever for front bucket maybe stuck,,,,this would open an electric flow control valve in transmisssion fluid stopping forward and reverse movement,,,normal operates manually by the operator to stop movement when dumping load out of front bucket,,also there is a foot control below brake petals does the same when pressed
I didnt see any switch on the dump lever and i didnt notice a foot control either....this thing is old not sure it has any of that. Man i would hate to have to drive all the way over there again just to look and it not have these things ...how sure are you on this?
my ford is 84 555A and it has this feature,,,,,,,,yours must be early 80s and dont have this,,,,,,,,sry just tho i would throw that info out GL

Ok well i know for sure there was not a button on the loader control lever...but i should have looked at the brake pedal area to see if there was a lever or something that would stop the fwd/rvrs. when pushed cause what youre saying makes perfect sense...i guess what i really need is someone who has a manual on this machine to know for sure....Thanks.
i have pfd manual will need your email to send
