HAVE 2004 850JLGP INTERMITTENT PROBLEM FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, PROBLEM ONLY OCCURS IN REVERSE, LEFT HAND TRACK SLOW OR STOPS IN REVERSE, JD DEALER HAD REPLACED WIRING HARNESS AND LEFT REVERSE PUMP COIL AND STILL HAVING ISSUES. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND WHAT RESOLUTION DID YOU RECEIVE. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE HELPFUL.
This might not apply to your case.... but I have personally experienced several J series dozers(450's and 650) that had intermittent issues with different systems and after the dealer recommended parts changes and so forth only to still have issues recurring... finally determined the cause to be corrosion in the main computer caused by the failure of the paint/coating on the computer housing that allowed contaminants to seep between the main harness plug and it's seal. Check very carefully around the computers main harness plug for any signs of paint bubbling and/or corrosion.
