Recently picked up an old 853 for parts. However, after getting the engine running and looking it over I would feel bad to strip it. The only thing missing is the hydraulic control valve assembly. The previous owner had the mechanic work on it, but the mechanic quit and the Bobcat sat around while the valve was lost. How likely is it to find a used one floating around? The cost of a new one would be more than I paid for the machine. Otherwise I can hope to find another junk Bobcat to be a donor.
