Could really use a little help as I am new to all of this. I have a cat 416b that usually works fine but after running her awhile will not go into forward or neutral. Shut it off and the next day will work fine for several hrs. Where can I even start to troubleshoot this? Any rundown on diagnostics would be great.
Welcome. A good start is always a Serial Number. It makes locating technical information much easier. Also please list what you have donw or checked so far. I'm assuming you don't have a Maintenance Manual, right.?
Have not done anything yet as the problem is intermittent I'll get the numbers in the morning
