Have a 99 953-c that if you go into forward or reverse the hydrostatic transmission indicator light flashes. If you put it into highest speed after a few seconds the transmission pressure override switch light comes on as well as the audible and visual alarm. it will then stop. you can go to neutral and all will reset. Its works good as long as you stay out of the highest range with the exception of occasionally the same lights and alarms but with no sudden stopping as when in the hi range?? Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.
sounds like a fluid pressure problem to me. possibly pump going down. i,d do a oil sample and change filter. open filter up and look for metal in element but i,am no expert
Could be it's got 12,000 hrs on meter, Bought as is at auction so dont have any history on it. It will easily spin the tracks in a hard push and has no abnormal sounds. Filters and SOS sounds like a good idea.
