A few questions:- 1. Are all the listed Codes Active.? 2. Have you seen this thread.? HeavyEquipmentForums - pay specific attention to the attachments in Post #5 on Page 1. 3. Do you have an electrical schematic for the machine.?

have to verfiy if their all active , i just used the scroll button on the dash , no wiring diagrams for this machine , but i know i do have the electric fan unplugged if i remeber their was a TSB about overheating and unplugging that fan to run constant , i used to get a litle more help outta my dealer when Patten ran things , little different strory now ,

Run through the list and see which one light up the SERV CODE icon on the RH side of the monitor screen. Whatever Codes are Logged, no SERV CODE in other words, I suggest that you get the Monitor into Service Mode and erase them just to make things clearer going forward. See the attachments on Post #5 of the Click Box thread that I referred to above. I assume that you realize there is a built-in Click Box under the RH armrest.? I'll send you the electrical schematic. You're probably going to need it. Keep an eye on your PMs.

What is the problem you're trying to fix?

  5. #5mobile-tech2022-10-06 17:21

alright back to shop , go into mode 3 , 036 0544.08 active

the warning light is on on panel , getting trucked out to a new job dont want to have a breakdown

0544.08 Fan speed abnormal. Try plugging the solenoid back in.

  8. #8Cmark2022-10-06 17:36

Your 0291 code is also related. The warning about overspeeding the fan would have me worried. I would definitely be plugging it back in.

im thinking about that as well , i just remember a few years back reciving a TSB about unplugging that fan for an overheat condition

  10. #10mobile-tech2022-10-07 11:11

but if its overcooling and overspeed theres a chance that thing could come apart into the radiator and hydro cooler

  11. #11Nige2022-10-07 11:22

The question I would be asking myself is why someone would unplug the fan solenoid. In an attempt to get rid of another Code perhaps.?

well my results where this , plugged fan back in , cleaned codes and ran machine in the yard cleaning up around the crushing plant and same code set again , wiring all checks out seems the fan clutch is faulty. boss decided he doesnt want to fix it cause the fans stile working and machines staying cool . thinking when it comes in for the winter ill change it out then , thanks for the help
