A few work pictures of a 20' deep sewer job with unexepected running sand. The area had been excavated years before to remove some large fuel storage tanks, the backfill that was used was fine sand; we had to replace a section of sewer line directly underneath the sand fill. We could not get it dug out with the excavator we had available, so instead we dug most of it with the trackloader- it worked very well.
