My left steering pedal is tighter than the right. When you apply the pedal all the way to make a tight left turn, the pedal does not return all the way back. If you only press the pedal lightly it returns as normal. The machine turns fine. It's just that the pedal will not return all the way. You have to pull it back about an inch back to the top otherwise the left clutch is still partially disengaged. There are no grease fittings on my pedals. I have not tried to adjust the clutch. Any ideas on what it could be?
I would start with spraying all connections with something like wd40
Take a torch and heat the peddle at the pivot point cherry red. It will free up. Keep a water hose close by in case you catch some debris on fire.
Take up the floor plate and work from the pedal right through to the business end lubricating each joint as you go. You’ll be amazed how many joints it has and what a difference getting some lubricant on them will do.
I'm surprised it doesn't have a spring to help , also the adjustment rod that goes into the brake on that side may be lose or worn, elongated . sam
