Trying to get all the algae and what not out of tank any suggestions. It is never ending ..probably no way to just add something to the fuel until it is all out right.?

They do make a algaecide we used it years ago when we got a bunch of pans for Africa but be prepared to change a lot of fuel filters for a while

Lines to the tank blocked somewhere. Is there an elbow or something similar in the fuel outlet line directly fixed to the bottom of the tank.? How come there are two threads for what is basically the same problem.? All that does is create confusion. HeavyEquipmentForums

Did you clean the prefilter at the primer pump? I needed to clean mine every few hours until most of the trash was out. Be sure to completely take it apart it has a lot of area on the very bottom of the bowl.

I would pull the tank and steam clean it. If it’s super rusty, you may need to give it an acid wash. You could kill the microbial growth, but it will plug up your fuel filters for a long time and that would get expensive. Why did the fuel get that bad in the first place?

I checked with my fuel manager and this is what She recommended.
