I am in need of advice where to locate the cause of leak purchased this machine 1/29/16 went straight to carwash and sprayed off exterior and then proceeded to spray the mud out from what i am calling the belly there is an inspection cover off and was spraying in through that access and the water and debris was not draining so with it being on trailer still i had easy access to the drain holes underneath at the rear and i sprayed to clear the hole and then put wand further in to clear out and seconds later it proceeded to leaking all the chain case or gear oil out any ideas
Welcome to WFM !!! Are you sure it was Gear Oil and not a slurry of Hyd oil mixed with dirt dust ….. it will come out of there like a sludgy Mess !!! …… With a consistency just like Gear oil ……. Cheers !!!
Yes gear oil it was running out as if u where pouring out of a bottle but right after posting about the oil running out i down loaded a manual and according to it there is a rubber drain plug inthe back of the chaincase and i havent looked at yet but i believe that i knocked that out when i was spraying only because it was straight oil and wasnt milky at all there was milky fluid mixed water and sludge that did run out before i stuck the wand in that drain holeto clear it so that the rest of sludge could run out i will post what i find when i work on it thanks
