Bearing is out has anybody had one of the larger ones apart looks like theres an inner shaft that comes out with the outer wheel or like some do you have to cut the outer wheel off.
mine isn't an action. but to change bearings on mine, you have to grind the weld off from outer wheel and shaft, take about 3 hydraulic jacks "mine are machine fit from shaft to wheel"...jack the wheel off, take a sledge hammer to the bearing housing to get it out of your road, "i assume yours are pillow blocks like mine, and new housing is only a few bucks more"...torch off the bearing race, emery cloth the shaft and bushing on wheel, we normally apply a film of STP on the shaft/bushing cause it makes it a LOT easier to pound, press back on...weld her up! hope you have some time, cause it's an all day job. we've found when one bearing fails, to do em both, normally the other one not that far behind. mine take dual tapered roller timkens. make sure you ask what kind of a seal you're getting.
