Hi looking to add a hydraulic thumb to my cat 315 cl sn#CJCO1775 it's plumbed for a single flow. What I need to know is what parts I need to make this happen. A thumb l found comes with a two way switch for in the cab, but any info on what needs to happen to the hydro lines would be appreciated!
Hello Sir Usually a valve either pilot operated or electric over hydraulic will be connected to your main control valve to control the operation of the thumb or auxiliary attachment. The main control valve can have line or port reliefs or this can be added additional to the control valve.
