Good evening to all, I have a quick question. Has anyone ever removed either of the relief valve caps on a Hitachi ex120-2 proportional solenoid valve bank. My pressure on the secondary relief of the pilot system is too high, so I need to pull the cap off and remove one or more of the shims. Will there be a “ considerable” amount of oil flowing out? Or put another way, do I need to drain the hydraulic tank? Or perhaps will a shop vac connect to the top of the hydraulic tank look after it. Thanks in advance.
