Aftermarket oil for D5G hydraulic reservoir

What are the CAT specifications for the Hydraulic oil? What type/namebrand are most of you using?

    We use 10wt cat oil. Check your local oil supplier they can cross a 10wt oil.

    Check your local Cat dealer. Thompson Tractor carries their own labeled oil that meets Cat specs and is about 1/2 price of Cat brand. I've been using Thompson Fluids for years with no problems.
