Akerman H12BLC excavator – hydraulic track tensioner leaking grease

It looks like I'll need to replace the seals on the hydraulic track tensioner on my Akerman H12BLC excavator as the grease is leaking out. Does anyone know if the hydraulic tensioner can be removed on these machines without removing the track? Any tips on how to make the job easier? thanks! Mike
