sk140srlc-7 that took on some water. been putting in a lot of work on this machine to help a buddy get it running. i removed every harness and went through them, replacing the ones that were beyond saving. we have also replaced the relay box, 24v converters, image processing controller and the mechatro cpu controller. everything is back in and the machine appears to power up fine. the issue is that we cannot do the A adjustment because the system language is in Japanese. the dealer told us that the controllers were preprogrammed but it seems like a blank controller to me. using a translator to navigate the menus, we found the language setting but choosing English does absolutely nothing. we also found the info list and while the engine model is correct, the serial number for the ecm is not. what do you guys think?
Do a member search here for MrKobelco he will probably be able to walk you through it over the phone. I have not seen him in here for a while though. I have a customer that has his number if messaging here does not work.
i have been reading through his thread. pretty nice guy to donate his time like that to help people. i will shoot him a DM, thanks. as far as the tuning of the mechatro, i understand what to do (for the most part). what i really need to know is, from other people who have installed new controllers that came preprogrammed from a dealer, was the language in Japanese or English?
