i have a weak but still turns over 3 cyl. diesel in my yanmar186D and have found a Kubota D902 reasonably priced can they be interchanged at the crankshaft to transmission? i am aware intakes & exhausts are on opposite sides- I don't see it as a problem or is it? the main concern is adaptability, I think. I know the Kubota engine is about 1 " shorter then Yan Mar engine, horse powers are equivalent at 23 to 25hp. looking for anybody that' made a similar conversion, thankyou
