How do you get to the alternator on a cat 308 c excavator 2004 model? It seems to be behind the engine and not sure how much tin ware to take off to get to it.
Thank you for the information. I figured I would have to take all the above apart and then some. Getting the dipstick tube apart is difficult due to no room in compartment to turn wrenches.
