For plant sales there are Resale Weekly http://www.resaleweekly.com/ and Plant World http://www.sheenpublishing.com/ As for readable magazines there is Earthmovers http://www.earthmoversmagazine.co.uk/ Classic Plant http://www.cpmmag.co.uk/ These are UK based but might be of intrest.
Magazines Try Engineering News Record "ENR" has lots of info on heavy construction work. In California you have CB&E & Cal-Contractor. You may want to check public library's as they usually have a peroidical section and have many constructon related magazines. Most librarys will not check out magazines. Use to be a great monthly called "Highway & Heavy Construction" it had great articles that were actually about people & jobs. Went out of print in in the mid 1990's. If you can find any old issues they are great reading. The downtown San Diego Ca library has an archive bound year for year of this magazine.
