skid marks Been there done that got the skid marks The mistake he made ( unless there was actually a big shear step off the pavement )was coming out forwards in the first place. He had nothing ( solid tarmac ) to be able to grip on to pull himself out. Even if there had been a 2' drop to get up I would have come out backwards. With the arm out at full reach to take the weight off the climbing end, he might have had to drop the arm sharply while tracking to get it to climb a step, then do what he finally ended up having to do. :drinkup Try climbing on a rail truck in a tunnel with a 10t when you cant slew around :Banghead
Digging out basements in a town is not the easiest job. Often very thight and with a high time pressure on u. Last thing out is often the exc, so u very often have to do theese type of things. But the operator isn't nice to his equipment, right back door is changed and has no decals.... Here around your boss will give u a sharp comment about handling, if u use his exc as this guy has done.(counterweight marks and door) Only thing missing is the rental sticker on that one..... Handled by stickmovers not operators....
nothing to this silly game:drinkup
Only when I have to..
If you take a look at the machine, around the 20-30 second mark of the video, when he swing right, you can see the United Rentals sticker on the side, above the 220 sticker on the machine :drinkup Looks to me like shes a rental. We all know nothing rides like a rental :drinkup
Thats real good on the tracks! I also wonder if he has any oil pressure? O well, who cares its a rental!
Doesnt look like that machine had to many nice days anyways.
is this bad? i do it when im bored at nights:beatsme see burnouts spring picts
yikes can you imagine if he lost a track? ointhead
not entirely impressive, any operator with a decent amount of experience can handle that. And with a decent amount of experience, these operators would have never tried to crest that going forwards.
Jumping walls makes life interesting. Last one I got to jump was a 3 1/2 tall wall. Not overly impressive, until you consider i had just enough room to get down off the wall and inbetween a set of railroad tracks.
By the marks in the sidewalk that wasn't the first try.
