I am new to operating heavy equipment and I am trying to learn all types of equipment so I am considering relocating to Phoenix to join the Local 428 apprenticeship program. Has anyone here been through their program? If so how hard is it to get in? I am relocating from GA because the iuoe union down here is not the best so I want to know also the availability of work for operators.
