Anyone heard news or rumours on deere/wacker Neuson excavator models?

Deere announced the 85P and 510p at Conexpo and some youtube vids showed (maybe) the 35p,50p and 60p in the background but there's no information online at all. Seems like manufacturers are really tight lipped about new models... even when announcing models the specs are not really available. I like gossip hahaha

“John Deere, for its part, is moving in a new direction too. In June, Deere announced it was expanding its relationship with Wacker Neuson to include the development of excavators less than 5 metric tons, including battery electric excavators, that will be manufactured by Wacker Neuson. Additionally, John Deere announced it would also have control of the design and manufacturing of a new line of 5- to 9-metric-ton excavator models, “leveraging a solid foundation from Wacker Neuson,” according to the press release . Yup, seems like historically each model/revision lasts 3-5 years. The 35G/50G/60G models should be renewed "soon". Considering the 60G has been out for almost 10 years I was curious if any more info was out since Deere made that announcement last year. I'll prob flip my 60G for a new 60/75 or 85 in late 2024 so I'm keeping an eye out for details and rumours!

John Deere and Wacker Neuson grow mini excavator partnership John Deere and Wacker Neuson expand their relationship to North America. www.heavyequipmentguide.ca Basically Wacker will build the smallest minis, and Deere will build the 5 ton and up, using "intellectual property" from Wacker. Biggest change they're admitting to yet will be Yanmar engines in all the Deere machines. Date is maybe Jan 1 of 2025. Lots of articles to digest if you search for Deere, Hitachi, Wacker, agreements etc. John Deere, Wacker Neuson deal benefits both manufacturers John Deere signs deal with Wacker Neuson for the manufacturing and development of mini and compact excavators for the North American market. www.equipmentworld.com

So I wouldn't expect many major changes in anything under a 5 ton machine for awhile. The 50P, 35P, and 60P machines you saw in the background are just rebranded G series machines. It'll be awhile before any Deere-Wacker models are available (my guess is unveiling at 2026 ConExpo). The 75/85P is still made by Hitachi but is a nice looking machine with some cab, serviceability, and performance improvements. Sounds like it shouldn't be too long before these are available to order. StackPath
