Hello there, i came across a Hitachi TD09 bulldozer, apparently its similar to a d5 type bulldozer, maybe from the 80's era. Its got a 4cly turboed engine producing around 110hp. Anyone heard of one of these machines at all?? cheers Alex
i have but i cant tell you anything about them nick......
I looked at a similar sized hitachi dozer that was from the 90's a couple of years ago, but it wasn't a TD series, this one was around D5 size and had an Iveco 4 cylinder turboed engine in it, I think it was called a hitachi D110 if my memory serves me correct. Didn't seem a bad machine, didn't end up buying it though, under carriage was completely shot. But if the undercarriage was ok, we'd have seriously looked at it.
HI Alex, In 1965,you could have got a new TO9 for 12,000 Pounds,or the TS09 Shovel version for 13K.98 HP at crank,79 at drawbar (1500RPM).533ci diesel engine.Shipping weight 19,000LBs. A.V Page in Melbourne were the agents... I think DEAS once said they were a P.O.S...but the new ,small Hitachis are well made machines. Jim
Just had a brain wave, the machine we looked at was a fiat hitachi FD145, it was a 1993, with an Iveco turdo charged engine, think it was a six cylinder as well. Nice machine though but heavily worn.
