Looking at an 05 noticed some blue smoke when it was revved up but it cleared right up, unit has Perkins engine and is showing 890 hrs. Is this normal or do I need to look for something else? Also it is in need of tracks, what is a good aftermarket set and what do they normally run, thanks
I had an 2006 rc100 and at around 700-800 hrs the seals in the turbo failed- I would ask about the turbo. As for the tracks, I never replaced mine-I ran them to junk and traded on a new PT100G forestry. I did check out a couple of manufacturers that made high quality aftermarket tracks. ASV tracks don't have steel in them so there are not many choices but you should find them online and see what kind of feedback they have.
