Was out driving to day and called on an old friend who happenen to have this in his shed .What is it might even stump Deas with one?
I'd venture that it's a trench back fill unit of some kind, possibly one that lays down asphalt. But I'm guessing.......
peat something to do with peat ,cutting and carting of blocks :beatsme :notworthy
Yep its a turf harvester!
That it......... he has just fitted v8 twin turbo Deutz engine rated @360 hp and larger pumps, also in his shed is the last one manufactured,it has as a scania 360 hp engine which they also upgraded the machine is a Teva turf hopper (manufactured in Roscommon Eire)which is loaded by an excavator ,the teva then mixes it up and extrudes it out in rows to allow it too dry and be used as fuel instead of timber or coal. Anyone else got any odd ball plant pictures? Bring them on ..... Stock
Is "turf" and "peat" the same thing? There are peat bog's in northern Indiana "U.S."Sometimes they catch fire. Its hard to put out.
would that be operated by a bogtrotter?
well stock, wat part of da country is that teva in?iv 2 difcos myself!
Not too far from a bog in the PRC.
prc???
Here's one A Hint- people from the southern states in USA might guess
Sweet potato harvester
No guesses, to do with cotton harvest. Called a moon buggy, moves cotton modules from the gin yard into the gin to process. Just finished trimming the pads out there, only blew one old hyd' hose on the job. 100hrs work & the moneys already in my bank. :notworthy Theyr'e the jobs to have :drinkup

tevas were made in Claregalway in Co Galway and their predecessors were the Difcos were made in Roscommon, also i drive the last teva ever built. It was a special order, its bigger than that machine. The man i work for had the first difco and the last teva self propelled hoppers ever built. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Drgxx7ikDiE
