Attaching a hammer\breaker on to a Komatsu PC340 LCD for Rock breaking contract

Jungledigger · 2013-11-05 09:39

I’m thinking of putting a hammer\breaker on to my Komatsu PC 340 LCD so that I can mobilize it on to mining contract breaking rocks. It was working on small scale mines just digging surface level dirt/mud and gravel. My question i, will moving it on to a contract breaking rocks have a big negative impact on the general ware & tear and specifically on the pump? Would it be wise to just avoid this contact considering it has 8000hrs on the clock? any advice will be of great help.:cool2.

What kind of rock u may be able to undersize hammer so 5000-6000 instead of 7500-11000 i run an 11000 on my ex300lc-3 with out any major issues other then pins wear little quicker but for the rate u get its well worth investing. U need a low psi line back to take u do not want the oil going through valve chest and ur pumps wont wear any faster they are allways pumping oil so whether the oil is going through ur hammer or to ur tank its same thing in cold preheat bits
