Attachment mounting for Case 1845 vs everyone else

A friend of mine is borrowing my Komatsu SK820 becaue his Case 1845 died on him the other day. He needs to borrow it to finish getting his yard prepped and seeded this week, and is using an FFC Preperator on it. After getting the right hydraulic quick couplers straightened out, I realized that the Case 1845 uses a different style mounting plate. Instead of a flat plate, the Case (and this particular FFC attachment) seem to be setup to work 2 vertical strips of metal on the middle of the quick attach plate (basically making 2 squares instead of 1 big rectangle. We are just going to cut the 2 vertical strips off to make it work with the Komatsu. My question is this, are there very many different styles of quick attach plates, or is Case the exception?

Before the Bob-Tach patent expired, many manufacturers tried different quick attatch methods. The Case uni-loaders originally had no quick attach then they went to the style you see. Sperry-New Holland had another weird variation. By the late 90's all skid steers started emulating Bobcat's method and it seems to be the industry standard now.
