backhoe loader vs. a mini excavator?

What’s the biggest difference you notice when running a backhoe loader vs. a mini excavator?

    Backhoe sinks in soft ground. Moving when say digging a trench isn't as efficient with a hoe.

    Kubota KX-033-4 gets into tight places, swings 360 and fits easily on a 20' 14K bumper pull trailer. Case 580M can efficiently load a dump truck, digs deeper much faster, travels much faster and can be roaded. Requires a TD gooseneck and a 1 ton dually minimum. IMHO minimal overlap and different work envelope.

    Mini has no reach compared to backhoe & not much good at moving dirt pile around. I have both and the hoe gets used far more.
