I have a 2004 953c bbx with service codes 0300248.02 0791869.03 0791869.13 alarm continues to go off and machine will not move. I know the code 079 is hydr tran control and may need calibrated? any way I can do this with out calling cat?

The 2nd & 3rd codes are your problem. 1869 refers to the transmission lever position sensor, 03 is "voltage above normal" and 13 indicates it requires calibration. Have you replaced that sensor recently? It won't be necessary to call out a dealer to sort this problem. You'll need to fix the 03 Diagnostic Code first (if it's actually an active code - does the SERV CODE light on the RH Top corner of the panel come on?) before doing the calibration.

service code is on on the panel along with two warning lights. we have not replaced any sensors. how do you go about the calibration process

From your photo I can see that you have an Active Service Code, the problem is that view doesn't tell you which one. You have to use the Service & Clear switches as you did before to get each individual Service Code to appear one after the other. If the SERV CODE light comes on for a single Code that means it's active, if it does not come on then the Code was there once but is not there now. You can use the clear switch at that point to clear any Code that is not active. I'm sure that the CID1869 FMI13 (calibration) Code will be active, but what interests me is whether the CID1869 FMI03 Code is Active or not. Depending what the answer is to that question will determine the diagnostic process, if the FMI03 Code is Active then it will have to be diagnosed and fixed first before doing the calibration in order to clear the FMI13 Code.
