bobcat 863g hydrostatic motor – keeper/ring broke

bobcat 863g , took hydrostatic motor apart. found small spring broken on poppet valve and a keeper/ring on piston broken. i was able to order spring from bobcat . but i would have to order the whole block to get ring, several $1000. anyone have 1 to spare or what else i can use in place of ring?

    Need to find out what brand of motor it is. You could have some major damage, especially if broken pieces were circulated through the system.

    broken pieces of spring were stuck down in, so they didn't get into rest of pump. keeper/ring was also in groove so it didn't get out either. not a 2-speed

    does anyone know if i could use a metal snap ring in place of the plastic? ring on piston of motor?

    thank you, are there bobcat junkyards where i may find this motor to get ring out of?
