hello my friends.. i need help with a problem: i have a 863H bobcat year 1997,all the hydraulic oil goes in the chain case. if i put 20 liters in 30 minutes of running the machine it goes in to the chain case.i replaced those 2 drive motors seals, but the hydraulic oil still goes in to the chain case. somebody said cause the cause may be the pistons inside the drive motors, and the drive motors needs to be replaced. thats is very expensive here in romania. the machine is runs good,it has a lot of power... is no sign cause the drive motors can be bad. thank you!!
Where's the hydraulic tank on the machine?
The tank is at the back of the cab
I think the only way for hyd. oil to get in the chain case is from the hyd. motor on an 843H. I recall a much earlier model 825 used a common oil reservoir.
Monday i'm going to replace rebuild the drive motors with a new kit of o-rings. Wish me luck
Resealing those rarely works. Most of the time there will be a groove in the shaft where the seal rides. You would be better off with replacement motors
Generally something internal is damaged that causes the seals to leak. Often it is less costly to just replace the motor.
Welcome to the HEF, Vaile. Let us know how the project goes. Good luck.
