Iv got a Bobcat 873 my bucket tilt is leaking down whether the machine is on or off at a relatively quick pace trying to figure out what the problem could be or where to start as far as repairing the problem any help is appreciated thanks
Sounds like one of the cylinders is leaking internally. One way to test this is to disconnect the hoses from one and cap them off then see if it still leaks down. If it does, try the other. If it doesn't then the other one is the culprit. Another way you can check to see which one is bad is to run the machine without using the bucket function until the oil warms up, then roll the bucket all the way back and hold the control to keep rolling it back, the cylinder that warms up first will be the bad one as the oil will be leaking internally on that one. Hope this helps.

It could also be leaking back thru the control valve. Mike
