After resolving an issue where both aux solenoid stems were stuck, then running the machine at idle, while activating hydraulics, the engine stalled because of hydro pressure, etc. Now the engine doesn't run beyond a half second. It pours out black smoke trying to restart. Wait 20 mins, try cranking again, few revs of the engine and it quits. We don't think the aux is stuck open either. Never has it acted like this. Any ideas? Coincidental issues?
Wondering if hydraulic fluid that oozed out the aux solenoid stem ports has contacted something to make the engine not run. Weird problem for a great running machine (other than the stuck stems in my first thread).
Bobcat dealer/service advisor thinks a stuck aux stem is likely preventing the engine to start, as the pressure against the engine is too great. I am going to swap two stems back to original ports, where one or both lived as they were jammed up inside the spring sleeve that resides up the inside of the stem bottom.
