I recently acquired a 943, got it cheap, so of course it needs some work, needs a water pump, and realized the alternator is not charging, removed alternator, going to replace it, but also the electrical harness is in bad shape, I could make my own, but would rather buy a new one, can not find any where to order one? Is something like this available?
Not sure how well Bobcat supports the "old" machines, or how cost effective it would be to get it from the dealer......Carleton equip. would be your local dealer. Ed
make sure you have the machine SN handy when you call the dealer. the 943 wasnt in production for very long in the mid-late 80's. no idea if the harnesses are available or not. you could look at bobcat's website, there should be a link there to do a parts search. you wont find any pricing, but it should tell you if the parts are still available. if not at least you'll have the PN for the harness when you call the dealer. :drinkup
