Hi there guys,anybody had any experience tracking down intermittent error codes, my new Bobcat E35 is occasionally beeping and coming up with the following error code,( M3204, which according to the manual means the following, ( Throttle Controller No Communication ). The dealer sent a tech out and he connected his laptop up and confirmed that it was the error code above, didn't really have a fix for it as its intermittent !!
I hate intermittent codes. I have a T770 and have been listening to a Camshaft sensor fault code for months. They have changed the sensor and the wiring harness. Problem is it never stays on long. Annoying to have to listen to it bing 20 times an hour.
intermittent faults are always tricky, but most of the time its a wiring issue. turn the machine on and do the jiggle test on the wires to the sensor, and if you can follow the schematic in your manual check all the wires, connectors, breaks in the insulation. in the pins and sockets of the connectors. GREEN IS THE ENEMY with electronics. corrosion can show up in some crazy places
