bobcat s150 hydraulic leak

Gwilkrrs ยท 2022-03-21 06:53

so i noticed my machine acting up a bit when raising the bucket and opening the grapple........ i then noticed wet coming from the front of the machine from the right footwell opening- i took the side cover off between the tires and it was soaked. then i took the inner access panel off to see- i think its the hydraulic control valve on the right side, i see the sensor solenoid with the wires coming from it, and the bolt right under that has a drip coming from it- after a bit of work i got the bolt out (pressure relief maybe) and have checked the o rings and they seem fine to me? i am almost positive this is where the leak was and not the solenoid above it..... picture of unit is looking down- silonoid is below horizontal line and vertical line intersection (black cap) the bolt is below this to the right a bit directly under the horizontal line nut (you can see a shiny bit)

now i am wondering if the solenoid above this was leaking down on it? there is residue all over it? the one i took off is below (shiny visible)

so i pulled the solenoid stem out and it has a bad o ring- i cant figure out where to get new o rings- the dealer yesterday was no help since i didnt have my serial # but had the part he wasnt able to look it up definitively? now i am looking online to try to order but all i find is a new stem complete not just the o ring seals

Alot of local hardware stores will carry orings that may work.

If you can't find it at the hardware store, you can also check it with a mic/caliper and match it up with one on the McMaster-Carr site.

Call you local Bobcat dealer and ask if # 6669732 will work. I got the # off the Bobcat web site. He should of been able to look it up under the model # you gave, serial # is the best but they should of been able too. If you take to a local Hyd shop they should be able to match them up and get the correct type and derometer rating.
