I have an 03 bobcat s185 with the 7 foot v plow. during the storm wed night the blades on the plow stopped moving. when you hit the switch on the handle the hoses tense up so i know the oil is being sent to the plow, but the solenoid valves arent opening. I quickly checked the fuses and wiring but nothing seemed a miss there. any ideas what it could be?
what's the make/model of the plow? 7 or 14 pin connector? :drinkup
it is a bobcat brand plow. 7 pin connector
typically the problem is the ACD fuse on the machine. you could have damaged wires, a bad coil or a wet connection someplace as well. if the ACD fuse is good, AND you have cover to both sides of it the ACD harness connects to the machine right above the battery, check for 12v on the red or red/white wire, reconnect the harness and work your way to the front of the machine checking for voltage. :drinkup
excellent! thank you for the input. i will check it out tomorrow!
Got it! wires were pinched between the bob tach plate and lift arm. all fixed. thank you!
