My 2011 bobcat S205 is giving me an error code that says alternator voltage too low and alternator low output. Anyone know anything about this. I cant seem to figure it out.
What is the battery or alternator voltage sitting, and once you start it and low idle, and high idle? use a multimeter at any convenient fuse inside the cab if you can't reach the battery or alternator easily.
What Delmer said, gotta start there, you can test the voltage easily when you open the rear door, the starter is right there. If you're not reading nominal 13.5 to 14 volts with engine running then you need to check the exciter wire at the alternator and see if it has switched power on that terminal with ignition on.
