Welcome to Heavy Equipment Forums pc40chas! :drinkup
Almost sounds like drive is binding up.......How are the other functions like moving the bucket and the arms? Does it bog it down then too?
Bobcat t190 troubles as for the functions the bucket and lift there are no problems by them selves, if you do both at the same time it boggs down. Thanks!!
So if you do two operations at sametime sitting still it bogs down the same as what you described when moving? I am not 100% sure, but it would lead me to believe that is in the drive motor or pump. I would start checking there first.
powerloss i have bobcat of erie coming out tomarrow and i will bring that up. it just burns me up i spent all that money and the day after i bought it i have to call bobcat techs to the job. thanks alot asphalt04. any more suggestions i'm listening
Howdy- You've prabably got a diagnosis by now but I'm gonna guess: 1. Thick black smoke under load-over fueling-which is either too much fuel or not enough air. Check intake hose integrity to and from turbo. Check for engine oil in intake hose at manifold-blown turbo seal which leads to turbo failure soonest. Pull intake hose at turbo and see it the turbo shaft is wobbly or siezed. You can also check and see if there is a rag or some other obstruction in that hose. I've seen it, believe me. Plastic plugs, rags, bird nests, etc. 2. Eliminating that and my next guess would be fuel injection. Nozzle testing and such, don't know how far you want to go with it. It's easy to check stuff in number 1 above. Interested to hear what the problem is. Good Luck.
i would go with a pump or a drive motor bobcat has troubles with the track machine drive motors on all there track machines so i would susspect its there not being there to look at it
powerloss i just talked to bobcat this morning and its looking like injector pump. they have to send it somewhere for a more in depth test or something. i'm glad i found this forum you guys know your $#@*!! thanks
now that you say the injector pump we had a t180 that would run fine when it was first started but as soon as you idled it down and let it sit it would be low on power and slugish the guys in the shop probably had 60 hours of time in it trying to find the problem they tried new injectors filters turning the pump up they even took the front cover off and checked the timing a couple times sent the pump off and got it calibrated and rebuilt and after all that it started working fine they didint do all of this at one time they tried each individually and it was a trial and error thing i even think other stores in or company worked on it havent seen it back or heard anything so i guess its ok now if that doesn't fix it i would have bobcat put a new engine in it if its still under warranty we had teh go ahead but the guys in the shop just wouldn't put the new engine in so they wasted time and money witch would have equalled out in labor to the new engine being bought and installed dont ask me i would have put the new engine in it and took the old one home but to each is own
still waiting yep, here it is 4 days later and i dont know any different than the other day. i agree with bobcatmechanic, slap a new engine in that bad boy and lets go to work. enuf is enuf, time is $ and i should have been a banker:Banghead
yeah the injector shops around missouri are slow to but if you get the go ahead dont mess with it just replace the engine but that old and that many hours its probably not under warranty so your kinda sol
just wanted to let you know i just got my machine back. the injector pump was over fueling 17% and my turbo wasn't working. grand total was 3460.00. the place i bought it from picked up the bill. i wish every body stood by there word like these guys did. great people and business.
t190 i hav t190 2004 1200 hrs, i have same problem with power loss, also i think that, there are red and grean caps on the pump witch it blows hydralic fliud out of one in a while or drive motors not sure can some one help thanks
correct me if i'm wrong but i thought the final drive problem related fairly specifically to the early build machines?
they where more prodeominate in the first ones but they haven't got them totaly worked out there are less and less i do but you still see them from time to time i have seen the reman and new ones in the three years i have worked for my dealer go bad also the new t110 is a whole diffrent motor so lets see how well it performs i bet poorly but who knows until they get out and get some hours on them also the released the steel track option so i bet we see a few of them come in with drive motor issues just my guess but from the past knowledge i bet they have some problems
kwikkat is the red and green cap on the right side of the machine. If so that is your hyd control valve.
same problem hope I don't have to spend that much
drive motor problems are almost non existant anymore, and the ones that do pop up, are either old drive motors with the short bearing housing that havent been changed, or high hours failures.or low hour failures on new machines, covered under warranty or the drive motor field mod. most of the motor failures we see, werent caused by the drive motor per sey, but blown hoses, leaks that werent repaired, and pumps run dry, poor maintainance, (ive seen hyd filters 10 years old that have never been changed) it's always the same guys with pump and motor issues you shoulda been around when the 864 was introduced, between the crap outer bearing housings, the rubber band tracks, and every body thinking it was a mini dozer you have no idea... :drinkup
sounds like you're talking about your control valve, spool seals are probably leaking :drinkup
