Bobcat t190 squeals when using hydraulics

Have a bobcat t190 (700 hours) Use for fence work.. 90% of the time it is used at about half throttle, auger - concrete mixer - light grading.... Anyhow, I was using it last week to run a concrete mixer and the mixer blew a cylinder seal (lost alot of fluid) and had to keep it running long enough to clean the mixer out/ it still had enough fluild to operate when i was done..... Replaced the lost fluid and it was good for a couple days..... Then out of the blue it started making a whining noise ( kinda like a powersteering pump on a car sounds , thats low on fluid) and lost most of it hydraulic power...... Changed all the filters and fluids....... 2 hydraulic, 1 fuel, 1 oil...... The drained hydraulic fluid looked a little milky ( water mabey )... Used the bobcat yesterday morning and it ran perfect for about 1/2 half hour ......... then back to the problem... Thanx for any help i can get.. Joe Stark (florida)

Check for any kind of inline strainer/filter on the suction side, then look for a collapsed or collapsing suction hose to the main pump. Could be a in tank suction screen, a sudden surge of fluid could have stirred and sucked up a bunch of crap there too. Those look good you may have bought a pump from running it out from the leakage, lost a steering pump on a old Allis the same symptoms showed on it.

The first thing is you need to stop running the machine until you figure out the problem or you will more than likely trash the pump is it isn't already. If the pump is still good it sounds as thought there a restriction of oil supply and DMiller gives good advice.

When working on a Bobcat, you're certain to open the "curse word" drawer on your toolbox. Welcome to HEF joseph j stark. :drinkup
