Bobcat T190 Track Stalling

Idle ยท 2012-12-14 16:54

The tracks on our T190 "stalls" under muddy conditions, on slopes, or when pushing hard. The problem started when going forward but is now either direction. We have good charge pressure until it stalls and the pressure drops from 358 psi below 200. Tracks & sprockets are good and all belts are properly tensioned. Dealer thinks it might could be the speed sensors but not certain. Has anyone had this issue and if so what was the solution? Thanks!

You need to watch the drains on the motors under load

check for debris, metal/brass in the spin on hyd filter also check the case drain filter. i'd think if you had a speed sensor problem, you'd also have an active fault. :drinkup

What tread pattern do you have? Sometimes a switch to an aggressive pattern helps, but I'm afraid it sounds like your drive motors are going out.

Getting ready to bring in and work on.Weird part it started this in forward only and after a while it started losing it's reverse power also.Anyone have issues with the pressure relief valves? There are 4 of them 2 for each side forward and reverse. The machine has 2500 hours.

i doubt very seriously if you have relief valve problems. 1st thing to check is the case drain filter, you'll probably find metal debris in it. :drinkup
