753 diesel bobcat...tried to start, engine turned over but i could tell there wasn't enough battery so turn off key but it kept turning over, until no battery which was only a few seconds...melted the wire connection to the selenoid. put on a new starter/selenoid, new battery. now when i try to start it, all the lights etc come on..thats it. thanks in advance for any help
Welcome to HEF st marys forge. :drinkup When the starter hung engaged and melted the wire going to the solenoid there's a good chance it melted the starter relay as well. C, F, or G Series machine?

in the correct place? starter have 1 or 2 wires on the solenoid? (plus the battery cable) depending on what series machine you have, relays could be mounted above the battery, or between your legs inside the cab :drinkup
