I have a boom lift with a bad F4M1011F Deutz. We found a BF4M1011F locally for a good price. I've found conflicting info, but i believe the B engine is a turbo... (although I've also seen that the B is for Bosch injectors) My question is: can I swap the BF4M on place of the F4M... and if so, what needs to be swapped to convert it to the original F4M style? Thanks in advance!
Just do an engine swap. You are gaining a bit of horsepower with the B series. Don't try to make it a non turbo engine like the original.......it won't work right at all.
