I have a 1999 kobelco sk150 everything works good except, for the bucket cylinder. It opens fine but closes slow. I have already gotten the cylinder repacked, so its good any other ideas.
If your other functions work good, ( boom up, travel), you can switch your port relief valves top to botom. If your problem moves to the other direction buy a new relief valve. Make shur your boom is in the oil check position and you drain hyd tank pressure before you remove these valves!
kobelco cylinder slow is there any way for you to explain were i can find that valve or where it would be located. Thanks
Follow the bucket line steel tubes down the back of the boom. They end at the side of the main controll valve. On top and on bottom of the main controll valve, but near where the steel lines go in you'll see tall cone looking things, 3"-4", tall. threaded into the main valve. These are the port releif valves. These can be very tough to get out without the right tools. Make shure your main valve is clean before you swap these, If dirt gets in that hole your problems get worse.
