bushing material

got a john deere 310a with a lot of worn bushings and pins,and would like to build my own,does anybody know of a good source for the stock to build these.most all my pins are 1.500 and my bushings are 2.00 od.mostly just varying lengths.any leads would be appreciated.

    If you can't find what you're looking for at Applied Industrial, thy these folks. I've ordered hardened bushings from them for a number of machines. http://www.ebushing.com/

    my Uncle was an old school mechanic for a big outfit in the 60s and 70s. When he talks about making homemade bushings he always refers to "Shelby Tubing". Maybe this will help.
